We think the theme is fairness because the the Americans were unfair to Japanese people but they were good people.People would call the Japanese people "Japs". Which is unfair because Japanese people didn't call them anything. Americans would lock the Japanese people up in internment camps because they thought they were dangerous. The Japanese people became nice and smart people. Treat everybody how you want to be treated.
